Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) outline the policies and responsibilities for all moving, packing, and delivery services performed by Peach Moving Solutions (“Company”) in Atlanta, Georgia. By booking or using our services, you agree to the following:

1. Furniture Assembly or Installation

Movers and installers charge a minimum rate of $65 per hour. If the quoted price is lower than this amount, the minimum rate still applies.

2. Phone and App Estimates

Estimates are based on the Inventory List you provide. The estimate assumes your home is packed and ready. Significant changes in inventory may affect the total cost or time of service.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

A minimum of 72-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule any appointment without additional fees.

4. Payment

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and cash. Payment must be completed upon service completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Additional Charges

Extra charges may apply for services outside the original estimate, including multiple pickups or deliveries, door removal, long carries, stairs, or last-minute packing.

6. Bulky Items

Bulky items such as pool tables, pianos, safes, hot tubs, motorcycles, and similar items are subject to an additional “bulky item” handling fee.

7. Arrival Times

Peach Moving Solutions provides an estimated arrival window. While we strive for punctuality, unforeseen circumstances such as traffic or weather may cause delays. Please ensure we have an active contact number on file.

8. Inclement Weather

Additional costs may apply in the case of weather-related delays. The company is not liable for damages caused by adverse weather. Services may be rescheduled due to unsafe conditions.

9. Firearms

We do not handle or transport firearms, ammunition, or hazardous materials. These items must be removed from the property prior to the move.

10. Travel Time

For jobs located more than 35 miles from our base in Atlanta, travel time to and from the site will be billed in addition to the hourly rate.

11. TVs and Electronics

Flat-screen TVs must be properly packed or crated. Original packaging is preferred. Additional charges apply if our team provides packing materials.

12. Packing and Materials

We recommend using our professional packing services. If you choose to pack yourself, please use boxes (not bags), seal all tops and bottoms with tape, and label fragile items clearly. We also sell packing supplies upon request.

13. Drawer Contents

Remove all contents from drawers in pressboard furniture or desks. File cabinets must be locked, secured, or emptied as appropriate.

14. Elevators

If applicable, please reserve and pad elevators in advance. Check with your building management for time restrictions or required permits.

15. Damages and Claims

Any damage must be reported immediately and noted on the contract at the time of service. Claims must be filed within 60 days of service completion and only after full payment has been made.

16. Storage Unloads

For unloads at a storage facility, any outstanding balance must be paid before unloading begins.

17. Pressed Wood / Pressboard Furniture

The company will not disassemble or reassemble furniture made from pressboard or particle board. Liability coverage for such items is limited to none.

18. Appliances

We do not disconnect or reconnect appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, or gas lines. A licensed technician should be contacted if special preparation is needed.

19. Released Valuation Coverage

Peach Moving Solutions provides federally mandated coverage of $0.60 per pound per item for damaged or lost goods, with exclusions as listed below.

20. Not Covered

Items packed by customers, fragile or high-value items not properly packed, pressboard furniture, electronics without crates, jewelry, cash, firearms, clay pots, or planters are not covered under any valuation.

21. Covered

Items damaged by our movers, not falling under exclusions, will be covered according to the Released Valuation Coverage stated above.

22. Release of Liability

If moving an item presents a risk of damage to property or belongings, a release form must be signed before work continues. Our crew will not proceed without proper authorization.

23. Right of Refusal

Peach Moving Solutions reserves the right to refuse service in unsafe, unsanitary, or abusive environments, or when property conditions pose unreasonable risk.

24. Tips

Gratuities for movers and packers are always appreciated but never required. They are a reflection of customer satisfaction for exceptional service.
